These seminars were organized in the framework of the Coordinated Action Plan of ECPFE - 2010, under the aegis of the Council of Europe. One hundred new Civil Engineers and Geoscientists, researchers and professionals on issues relevant to the seminar, participated in it.

The lecturers were distinguished scientists who processed issues on the following units:

1. Seismic risk assessment
2. Assessment of vulnerability in monuments
3. Risk assessment in monuments
4. Case-studies

Also, in the light of this event a training excursion on the archaeological site of Delphi and the historical convent of Saint Lucas took place on 8/12/2010 and the trainees were informed on phenomena that are due to the geodynamic status and the existing geotectonic – seismotectonic framework.

During the Seminars the ability to present scientific data, lessons and experiences and to exchange viewpoints among scientists was provided.
